Straight from the syllabus
Every character and word comes from the KSSR Primary 1 textbook lists. Play to the end and your child has met every reading and writing target in the syllabus.
Jom Yu Long · Primary 1 Chinese
571 characters to read, 282 to write, every one from the KSSR syllabus. Xiao Long the dragon turns the whole Primary 1 list into an adventure.
It plays like a game and teaches like a teacher. Senior Chinese teachers built every level, so your child is learning the moment they start playing.

Serious Chinese, learned by playing
As your child plays, every level moves them through the four skills Primary 1 is built on: listening, reading, recognising and writing. These numbers are everything the syllabus asks for.

Every character and word comes from the KSSR Primary 1 textbook lists. Play to the end and your child has met every reading and writing target in the syllabus.
Clearing a level moves your child forward on the syllabus, not away from it. Bye bye dull rote drilling.
They built every unit around the way children actually learn, so each character is taught, practised and mastered, not just seen once.
How Unit 1 works
Every level is a small adventure with Xiao Long: hear a story, meet new words, clear the challenge. All four skills that matter most in Primary 1 are built into the play itself.
Example / Write
xiě yī xiě
Learn the strokes, then practise writing each character in the right stroke order.
一 · 十 · 天 · 太 · 阳 · 上
Single strokes grow into whole characters.
Inside a writing level
yáng · sun
Watch the stroke order, then practise writing it in a big grid, with guidance.
What's in Unit 1
From the hilltop down to the school gate, the classroom and the playground, seven story stops weave in the four essential language skills. By the end, your child has learnt nineteen new words.
